| Temecula California Schools The Temecula Valley Unified School District leads the Inland Empire in standardized test scores and is one of the fastest growing school districts in Southern California, growing by nearly 9% each year. The general boundaries of the Temecula Valley Unified School District extend north to Jean Nicholas Road in French Valley, south to the Riverside County line, east to Vail Lake, and west to the Temecula city limit. Nearly 10% of TVUSD students speak a language other than English, with the majority of that percentage speaking Spanish. There are more than 60 different home languages spoken in TVUSD homes. Temecula Valley Unified School District's 2002 graduation rate was 97% and the drop-out rate was 1.2. There are several private preschools and child care centers in Temecula.
